Blue hue ensembles that will turn those blues upside down.

Here to bring you your bi-annual update on animal print’s current status in the fashion world and your wardrobe: me…and the Spring Summer 2020 runway. This season, animal print retained its rightful spot as one of the top prints on the pattern podium with unexpected colors and lively combinations. The pattern was modernized by boldness, forgoing its occasionally familiar role as a glorified but eclectic neutral.

Brands across the runways of Copenhagen opted for bright snakeskins and multi-animal print looks that utilized the pattern as a function of maximalism. Swedish-based Stand Studio featured various iterations of snakeskin in daring hues including electric orange, all-over lavender, and neon yellow. While Ganni explored combinations of snakeskin, leopard, and zebra anchored by neutral basics.
